A report “Indian Student’s Mobility report 2020: Impact of COVID-19 on Higher Education Choices” have raised concerns over students mobility not just outside of India but also inter-state
Other countries treat them like dogs and still they stay loyal .. NRI’s.
Well at least you won’t live in unemployment. Won’t have to study engineering just for the sake of it and end up unhappy
It’s not about studying in India, you study where ever you want but work in develope india.
@Simran Preet Singh OK, your decision ?♂️
@Edgymemer 9000 why would they? They get equal chance their to show their capability and are selected on that basis. In country, the family in which we born decides our future.
@Rohit P. I studied abroad, I had no load during or after my studies, but I am never gonna come back to India no matter how much salary I will be offered. In fact I was offered 22Lpa At one of the firms but it’s not about the money, it’s about the toxic work culture in India.
@Rohit P. Yep your point is right. For initial years we may do that and afterwards just improve our education system.
Let’s make India’s education level same as this ones.
@Arya Manake yes, but *if* the primary objective is to have them come back and work here, then it might be a cost to pay. And might have good returns for the country in the long run.
Also, loans will be waived off only if they show potential and sign a bond to work in India after, for let’s say 5 years min.
Better actually. Its waste of money for most.
@Simran Preet Singh true. You’ll not grow and will end up fighting and struggling for very little money and resources
Says who have not been outside his city his whole life. I studied abroad, I am settled abroad and in now way I am come back to India ever no matter what salary I get offered. It’s not about the money in India. It’s about the toxic micro management work culture.
But it’s their money. ?♂️
That’s the whole point of having a bank account, that you own the right to spend your money the way you seem fit.
Please give an update on the impact on abroad jobs as well..
Already jobs are like super tough here in Australia and mostly for pr holders. Google about the job scenario about other countries before you leave.
Yea, some guys like being abroad!
Most of them want abroad education just to settle in foreign nothing else
Andy clarke how are you so sure about his location?
@Simran Preet Singh Even though you are living abroad,You make same grammatical mistake as people here in India.
It’s there and not their.
Or else Their living of standard.
Yeah, because it offers better standard of living their.
Aisa mat karo yaar, America ki economy gir jayegi agar yaha se log jana band kar denge to.
help india to develop

The only reasons from Mobility Report that I saw were return on Investment on higher studies in Non stem and Math fields and employability post COvid 19.
Both will go up in about 5-6 years. So they should plan accordingly.
If immigration is a problem, then only if all universities, say in USA can open their courses at the same time , a mass transport of students can be done with flights on specific days which stays aligned with universities and allows them to be tested and initially quarantined at the airports there.
Employability for various fields will shift across the world. So they should be prepared to be employed anywhere.
Good. Finally they would study and work here instead of abroad.
Nobody can stop anyone. Just like Indians, abroad universities also desperately want Indian students to get enrolled there. So stop dreaming. Those who want to go, they will go.
@Karan Kapoor russia bdhiya hai mbbs ke liye
They can study herr. No job. They can only work for companies if usa out sources
One of my friend’s younger brother did not get any admit to any of the govt. medical colleges despite having high score in NEET. And you already know about reservation system.
The private colleges were charging 10 lakhs per year as fees. No way his could afford that.
So his family decided to send him to Russia, bcoz the total education will cost around 25 lakhs. Plus, he can do part time job there, and reduce the total expense.
I think we should look at the ground reality first, before building castles in the air.
Afterall those who want to go, they will surely go out of India. Nobody can stop anyone if other country is giving visa. So take a chill pill. So those who want to go, please prepare yourself with the documents required for application. start the application procedure and once borders will get open, ready to follow your dreams. And those who are advising people to stay in India, keep dreaming
