Thank you for your insights at this uncertain time. Appreciate your efforts.
I had doubts regarding masters at UK universities, I’ve received an admit but have not accepted or deferred it yet. Can you please comment on the pros and cons of accepting 1 sem online classes or deferring the offer at UK?

    1. WeMakeScholars

Hi! If you’re going for a two-year Master’s program, then an online semester is recommended as this will save you the living costs for the first few months. However, if it’s a one-year program and your university is allowing you to defer your admit, then it’s better to defer as you’ll miss out on the exposure. If you are seeking help from our team with the loan process, please get in touch by requesting a callback on this link: http://bit.ly/education-loan

    Hey Damini and Team,
Thank you for doing this video. Request you to do a video on the effect of Covid-19 on Loan options. Interest rate changes expected, Currency depreciation or appreciation, etc. affecting Indian and international loan costs.

You think we should still prefer Indian loans.

Hi, I have a question regarding my admission. I got in for a masters degree for design in Italy. So if the situation remains difficult they might start the course online for 1-2 months. Should I consider taking this year or should I wait for next year. Thank you

    1. WeMakeScholars

Hi, Sakkthi! If it’s a one-year program and your university is allowing you to defer your admit, then it’s better to defer it as you’ll miss out on the exposure that comes with studying abroad. However, if it’s a two-year Master’s program, then an online semester is recommended as this will save you the living costs for the first few months. Hello, Could you please make a video on Ireland universities about coronavirus, I do have an admit and I am currently going through WeMakeScholar Loan procedure. so please provide some idea about Ireland September 2020 intake.

  7. Jivesh Taneja

Hi. Is going for the 1 year master’s program recommended even if the program is on campus w.r.t employability. I have an admit from Irish university where the condition is mostly stable.
    Thanks.

    1. WeMakeScholars

Hi, Jivesh! Recession is more of a concern for those graduating this year, not for the ones who are starting their studies now. We are expecting recruitments and jobs to normalize in 1-2 yrs. So if you have an admit, you should not let it go. If you haven’t yet gotten in touch with WeMakeScholars, you can do so by requesting a callback on this link: http://bit.ly/education-loan

@ASHTUBE OK. This means he was in touch with you yesterday too. Initially, when I heard what you told, I thought the team is not contacting you for 3 days. Anyways, today is the 2nd Saturday and it is off for us. Bhavya will contact you on Monday- I will inform him now. Cheers!

    2. WeMakeScholars

@ASHTUBE Hi, I just checked your file status. I can see that you had a discussion with him on WhatsApp yesterday at noon (12:14 PM). You had mentioned that you received the offer letter and will proceed with the connected lenders. Can you please confirm if this conversation happened? Thanks!

  8. Nikhil Chandra

You make really good videos. I have applied for a 2 year Photography Diploma Course in Toronto for Jan 2021 intake. waiting for the offer letter. I hope I won’t have problems finding part time jobs. What are your views?

    1. WeMakeScholars

Hi, Nikhil! Glad you found the videos helpful. Part-time jobs are expected to be affected only for the next six months or so. You will not have to worry about this if you are landing there in Jan 2021. If you haven’t yet gotten in touch with WeMakeScholars, you can do so by requesting a callback on this link: http://bit.ly/education-loan

  9. GANGADHAR ROUT

You very dealt with admission, job opportunities thereafter on a/c of covid19 impact. What’s about risk of covid19? There is medicine invented till now to cure it? Uncertainty over international flight and so many allied issues with covid19

    1. GANGADHAR ROUT

Thank you madam for your quick response. However the dilemma students have in their mind due to uncertainty/ health risk created in the world due to non-availability of any medicine. Anyway each student has to take a call

    2. WeMakeScholars

Hi, Gangadhar! We made these COVID-19 videos specifically to help those students who were in a dilemma about going ahead with their study abroad plans or cancelling them. We highlighted the pros and cons of each decision keeping in mind the impact on their careers and education loans. As to the medical risks of travelling and flight uncertainty, as you know, that is not our area of expertise. Students should do their own research and use their discretion to choose the path that is best for themselves and their safety.
