One advice I can give, if you’re living in the U.S. don’t lend money to people, you don’t know that well and don’t give a lot for most of the time you don’t get it back. You can give if you have.

@Dhairya Goel Waha standard of living bahut high hai. And especially students loans to alag hi level ka hai. Waha log 50 kei ho jate hai lekin loan nahi chuka pate and ham yaha job milte hi CTC sei 10 lakh ka engineering loan yu hi chuka dete hai.

@Vishal Patil I don’t know if your geography is weak but Santacruz West comes in Mumbai it’s pretty much obvious. So you need to get some geography lessons from now. And when it comes to liking my comments, you being so salty cuz you didn’t get any?? perfect example of “yed zhava” you are.

@Dorulo Its okay to be aggressive towards Pakistanis. We should not care about India’s image when dealing with terrorists. And btw nobody appreciates India around the globe. So its futile to care much about India’s image.

Thanks for sharing this Harnoor. These bad experiences actually help us grow more as strong individuals and better human beings. Usually in India we are used to being around family and people taking care of us at the age of 15/16. So when one comes to US for undergrad, it’s a lot different. You have to take care of everything yourself. And when you are a student, $200 or 500 matters a lot. I think these things usually happen when you go out to live on your own at a young age, whether it’s in US or elsewhere. But the weed thing was scary.
